The
Velato Vase is crafted from hand-blown art glass shaped into a barrel
silhouette with a deep, cylindrical profile. The glass features a smoky
hue in light sepia tones, showcasing a fractured crackle texture across
the lower half. The vessel is seated in a structural brass base in a
cool nickel finish, featuring a deeply textured, cross-hatched pattern
that provides a rugged metallic counterpoint to the organic glasswork.
Product Information: The hand-made nature of mouth blown glass may result
in variations in shape, size and color. Each piece is
essentially free formed by a skilled artisan who gathers the
molten glass on the blow pipe and then skillfully blows,
forms, reheats, adds glass and sometimes other materials
to create the finished article.; Items made of solid brass may tarnish over
time. Many people appreciate this natural
patina taken on by the metal. If the item
becomes unevenly patinated and you wish
