With an inviting manor house flair and a warm, chestnut-colored finish, the Tynecastle Ladderback Arm Chair is a fresh update of a beloved chair silhouette. Designer details include scrolled arms, shaped slats on the back and shaped legs, details inspired by English antiques. Crafted of Poplar Solids and Figured Alder Veneers. Scooped wood seat for comfort. Named for the Tynecastle area of Northern England, the 50-piece Tynecastle collection is inspired by the manor homes and equestrian life of the English countryside. Tynecastle combines classic Georgian architechural details with more rustic timber-frame elements and leather accents, creating a ''manor home to tack room'' Hunt Country flavor.

MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
