With understated style and exquisite design details, the four-drawer Costiere Chest exudes character. Crafted of Oak Veneers with a solid wood edge top, the Costiere is finished in Normandy, a dark blue gray with scraping for a vintage feel. A touch of elegance is added with knob hardware in a hand hammered Florentine gold color. Drawers have self-closing undermounted drawer guides for ease of operation. Delivering the casual look and feel of ageless pieces acquired during travels in the Old World, Hooker Furniture is featuring Alfresco, a whole-home collection with relaxed European provincial styling. The Alfresco collection has a well-traveled aesthetic that is inspired by heirloom pieces found in homes perched on cliffs along the Italian coastline of the Adriatic Sea. The collection of bedroom, dining room, occasional and accent furniture features moderately distressed designs that are enhanced by accent paint finishes that create an eclectic feel. Alfresco is constructed of oak, maple and hickory veneers and poplar solids, and includes several pieces with stone and metal accents.

These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

Drawer Construction: Hooker Furniture offers full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability. Metal side guides or wood on wood guide systems operate smoothly.
