The base has turned legs and a Timeworn Gray finish with hand-chiseling and wire brushing, and contrasts with a natural-colored top. The whole home collection is an eclectic mix of European farmhouse pieces that have the appearance of furniture that has been refinished multiple times as it has passed through the generations. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
