The creation of the Golden Mosaic Vases begins with Italian slip-molded ceramic. Artisans first apply a grey glaze and fire it in the kiln to set the foundation. Next, they use the wax resist technique to carefully apply a wax mosaic pattern. A coat of white glaze follows, and once dry, a final touch of metallic gold glaze is expertly applied. This intricate process culminates in the stunning beauty of these handcrafted works of art.
